Subject: hard starting 2002 dakota truck IP: Logged
Message: Truck takes longer to start. Cranking like its not gettting fuel right away. Is there a service I need like, clean fuel injectors or something? What do you think?

Message: check valve in the fuel pump or injectors leaking down. try turning the key to on for a few seconds before turning to start. that should help.

Message: Clean the throttle body, injector cleaner in the fuel tank; first two things I would check. Plugs next.

Message: Battery might be on its way out. Check your fuel pressure 49 ps. +-5 psi at schrader valve make sure no bends or fuel line underside not leaking .Injectors might be leaking. Check all your ignition parts, 4 yrs. or older put new on, check all visual wiring fixed , lot of possibilities Good Luck..
