ok i'm adding my 2 cents here
an wether the amsoil guy likes it or not
and i dont care who flames me
i starting using royal purple & have to say
i will never use another oil again!
shortly after the oil change i did notice a difference in the truck
i mean as far as pull leaving a light or stop sign
and after about 300 miles or so i have noticed that it idles smoother
so go ahead amsoil guy and who ever else flame me all you want!
& PS i do not sell this oil
i do not work for them or get a single cent from them!
i am stating pure fact of my my own experiance
like it or not ~

and mpg. synthetics are more slippery.
by how much is debatable.
is rp the best? another debatable.
i've heard rp is better suited for race engines
and not a engine in a truck that is a daily driver.
