I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota with 37,000 miles on it, Black. I wash and waxed it regularly and I have noticed there are 2 spots on the roof that are fading a turning white. I have contacted the dealer and Dodge and they both said too bad you are not under warranty. Has anyone else had this issue? Can't we file a class action lawsuit? DAMN DODGES!!!!

it's the clear coat turning loose. did you buy it new? could have been repaired without you knowing even if it had no miles on it when you bought it.
i have an '00 QC that has spent it's 7yrs outside in the hot louisiana sun 24/7/365 and paint looks brand new. maybe you just got a bad one.

I bought it brand spankin new and it's it's smooth, it's like the clear coat is still there but the paint below it is fading. It's quite wierd.
