Message: Noticed the same thing on an old car I had. Inspected that front suspension 8 ways from Sunday, never could find anything wrong. Drove me nuts. Then I noticed one of the inside wheel weights was loose.

Message: check the little rubber bushings ono the sway bar ends. if one of those bushings is gone the washers on there will make a noise like you describe.
been there, done that and got the t-shirt

Message: If the clips on your brake pads are lose so that the pads can wiggle freely and you happen to have a slightly warped rotor, it can make a ticking noise. Just an Idea I have run across before.

Message: i checked the bushing they are still there...u know i did hit a curb back when there was snow and it blew my tire right off the rim i replaced the wheel and tire with a stock 15 my buddy had a his shop so i could get it to my buddies shop and put the tire back on the wheel and when i had the wheels off i looked to see if it did any damage but i didnt see nothing...oh i messed his wheel up put a really deep gash in the inside cause i got 16's and i had 15 on there for like 3 blocks and i blew his tire to shreads cause my caliper dug into the wheel...so i'm gonna check the pad and roto out.

Message: could be a washer ringing on a bolt that is backing out or a nut that is loose. Had one on my Chevy truck and for the life of me couldn't find it. It was on a front end piece where the bolt was backing out and the threads got ruined from movement. Cost only $75 for a new piece but wish I could have found it earlier.
