I have a 2000 4.7L CC. I pulled the dash this weekend to get to the evaporator. Once I had everything back together, it all worked great...
...EXCEPT the HVAC controlled blower direction knob. It only works on two settings: dash/floor and straight dash (it does NOT work on max ac, ac, floor, floor/defrost, straight defrost).
It seems like the common thread is that the non-functioning settings require recirculated cabin air. I clearly remember pulling only two sets of vacuum lines (one green set on the passenger side, one red set in the middle), and I clearly remember hooking both back up.
Is there something else I missed? Or, is it possible that in handling the switch I caused a short?
