Subject: Rain and tires... IP: Logged
Message: I now have a set of
Dominator Sport A/T's on my 01, QC, SLT, 2x4, 4.7 maunaul trany, LSD Dak
This morning, going home from work in heavy rains,
deep puddles on the freeways and city streets,
These tires are awesome.
I always feel confident in my trucks handling, braking, etc, wet or dry.
It hydroplanes little if any in deep puddles on the highway.
MY last set of Goodyear Eagle LS, weren't worth beans, especially when wet.

2. Tires subject of numerous lawsuits alleging separation at high speeds
3. Investigation prompted by data submitted by Cooper in routine reports
4. Cooper's aggressive tactics to win lawsuits widely criticized
5. SC judge: firm guilty of "misrepresentations, concealment and disobedience" during discovery
6. Cooper called "Attila the Hun" of tire manufacturers by renowned lawyer for plaintiffs
Significant Points
1. Will take 12-18 months for NHTSA to decide if "finding of defect" is warranted, order recall
2. Federal complaint logs show 115 complaints against 2-3 dozen Cooper tire lines
3. Firm targeted in at least 21 lawsuits involving 12 deaths in FL since 2000
4. Dozens of other suits underway nationwide claiming tire separation at high speeds
5. 1 critic says tires lack critical components: belt edge wedge, nylon overlay, thick inner liner
6. Cooper says wedge, overlay not needed, claims Consumer Reports listed 4 Cooper tires among top 10 for air retention

Message: Wow,
I guess it is,
They really are performing well like I stated.
My truck will do 125+ also, though I rarely/ever take it that high.
Thanks, I'll be watching them real close,
If there's a recall, I guess I get a new set!

Message: 'Truth'?, Do you know me?
Then how do you think you know anything about any situations in my life or what I do in the medical, or fire/rescue profession?
I know you don't know me, b/c if you did, you wouldn't be showing your insecurity, by trying and flame some screen name in the internet.

Message: Look at some of your past posts, or are the different stories to hard for you to remember. Do you hide behind a screen name because your life is just that boring. You are more than likely driving daddy's truck with no real life of your own.

Message: Mr. Small Mind,
That is so far from the truth, is that actually what you are doing?
I am a 'daddy', with my own truck.
