2003 was the last year for the original production Dakota 5.9 R/T. One option that year was a ground effects package (Stampede). The motoring press tested a 2003 R/T with Mopar Performance mods, but there is some debate as to whether or not those were ever sold to the public.

I saw the test in Truck trends.They talked like it was a truck you could go buy.They didnt say anything about limited editions or anything.
I hope they sold them. Thats my next truck.

when i bought my '03 Dakota R/T there was nothing offered about the mods .. i even asked about it and they told me no .....
