Subject: P0121 Throttle/Petal Position Sensor/Swi IP: Logged
Message: Hello,
My Check engine indicator came on yesterday with this code. P0121, Throttle/Petal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem. Does anyone know what I should check ?

Message: If it's petal, check your flower garden.
If it's pedal, check the TPS, which is on the side of the throttle body. Signal wire should be somewhere around 0.5v at closed throttle, and about 3.8v at wide-open throttle. Measure with engine off and ignition turned on.

Message: ok the same thing happened to me today. now i'm not a genius when it comes to cars but i like to learn how to fix things on my own. if u could please "dumb it down" a bit and explaine it to me that way i could probably get it.
