2000 Club Cab 4.7 Automatic to begin with. You know how the tranny whines when you have it in reverse and are backing up? Yesterday, I noticed that mine is making the same whine when I'm coming to a stop or have to slow down. It only does it when the tranny goes into second and then it stops if it goes down to first gear. I'm thinking front pump. Any other suggestions?

Mine is doing the same but also not wanting to go into gear so I'm swapping it out for a new one I got cheap. Just wore out I guess, 163,000 miles on it.

in them either! Sad FACT is, correct/good
tranny repairs are a thing of the past!
Even so called "factory rebuilt" are JUNK!
Yea, I'm SURE I'll get someone that will say they
know this place or that place that does good work
but it's just pain luck if he's able to do a good
LASTING repair.
Just my two cents worth.
