Subject: Fender Flare Needed

Message:
After a flawless first couple of year, my brother in law borrowed my truck and decided to see how close he could part it next to a cement pillar. Needless to say, there is some damage to my left rear fender... mostly on the flare accessory (its a SLT).

I went to the dealership and they are no longer selling these fender kits for the 04', and they want $250.00 for a single flare that is unpainted...

Does anyone have access to / or an extra left rear fender flare in the graphite factory color they would sell?

My flare was damaged on my Durango and my painter got a repair kit for $100, and it looks like new. Not cheap but cheaper than a new flare which was expensive. Wrecking yard will be a lot cheaper. Just be careful when removing it. Some screws to remove and then use some piano wire to go between flare and body to cut through tape holding it on from what I've read.

Try ebay. I cracked my left rear fender flare on my '04 Dakota CC 4X4. I happened to find one for sale on ebay for $40. I had it mailed directly to my body man and he painted it for me. Can't tell it was ever damaged.

They use to sell these pre-painted as a kit... i know they dont sell them that way anymore... so it looks like I am going to need to get one unpainted and have a bodyshop take care of it... wish is was a simple remove replace, would save a lot of time and money.

If anyone finds one sitting around let me know. as always thanks for the responses.
