I'd like to install a set of fog lights on my 98 dakota. Anyone know a good supplier & how difficult is the installation? Thanx.

How much you wanna spend? Pilot makes a 110$ set that is advertised as designed to mount specifically in the stock mounting holes. Various HEllas such as the Angel Eyes and the Optilux 2500 series are said to be very good and closer to the 50-70$ range in most auto parts stores.

I have Cyberwhite Navigators, madee by Pilot but sold through Pep Boys and a few other places with Cyberwhite on the box. They were 40 dollars and are bright as hell. Been on a year with no problems. Mounting required drilling extra holes in the brackets, splicing the stock wires, to the new ones, sliding them in there, and aiming them. IT was fairly easy but I can't comment as to how to put them on with a truck that doesn't have fog light wiring from the factory. I'd imagine you're going to need to figure out where to mount the switch, possibly drilling into your dash. Then run wires from the switch to the lights, from the lighs to the battery, and another wire for ground. Still shouldn't be too hard.

Whatever you get, if you have stock openings already, you probably want 4 inch. Mine are 3.5 and there's a gap. If you don't have a bumper with openings already there, you can get creative. Possibly if you have an opening in the lower bumper you can put them there.
