so today i was driving through hastings MN abd u saw an old genI dakota, red
with all kinds of stickers and crap on it
the amazing part was it was a flare side/step side
i cant remembver what they were called
and it siad something on the rer tailgate, but i couldnt read it
some kid was driving it and it was in TERRIBLE condition, didnt know what he had obviously
1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) Powertrax "traction system", 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars

not Li'l Red Express. that was a full size, stepside bed.
i've seen the one you're talking about Superbee, it was called the "Warrior". it's out on the web somewhere. i've seen 2 different ones. one red and one black.

I thought the Warrior was a knock off of the full size Warlock; availabe only in black - and that there was also a Li'l Red Express version for the Dakota, in red only ? There was definitely a L'il Red Express version of the Dakota in '92.

ill look around, i think it was an 87
i cant find it
this one didnt have the stacks either

That just means someone put an older front end on it; or, more likely, transplanted the bed. All Li'l Red Express Dakotas came with a 318.

ive seen somewhere on the net a genI with a stepside bed that had like a rollbar type thing on it, not a roll bar but some bars that followed the contours of the bed and up to the cab, but i cant find it
maybe it was a genII but it sure looked like a genI
either way, its too bad somebody has let it go to sh1t like it was
all stickered up and rusty

it was a genI dakota and on the back it says "little red dakota"

There was a Lil' Red Express Dakota, built from 1990-1992, by L.E.R. Industries in Edwardsburg, MI. They also built a Warrior edition which was based on the Warlock.
I have an article about them scanned in and posted on my site.

Mystery Solved!! So, while it is not a "factory" (dodge) limited edition, it is still a limited edition. Basically like an old "Yenko" Camaro. And I dounbt the same value is there.

Hi,
This is my 87 Express 4 x 4 the conversion was done by Country Sales Inc. but I cannot find any info on them I wonder if they became L.E.R. that is the co. that did the 90-92 Little Red express Dakota.
I have found very little info on the 87 express.
If you can share anything you know that would be GREAT.

i have one of the 1990 dodge lil red express trucks. they were built with v6 3.9l engines and the stacks are just show the arent hooked up.
im only 18 my grandpa gave me the truck he bought it from his friend its not in the nicest condition but im thinkin of selling it.

I just purchased an 88 Dakota Express. I have the original window stickers to prove it was a factory option, but at $4999 I can see why nobody bought one. I'm at work right now but I can have a link to photobucket later tonight for anyone who's interested.
