Awesome video. That'll get the adrenaline flowing pretty good.

I saw one of these in Miami on my 2nd to last business trip there. It was down around South Beach and we were both making a U turn back across the bay. I jokingly told my friend to keep up with him in our 4L Pacifica.

The car was literally gone within a few seconds. Very little noise and straight as an arrow. Very impressive car; 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. I think they are over $1.4 million. Jeremy stated that if the McLaren F1 was allowed to reach 120 mph, the Bugatti woud still be the first to reach 200 mph!

I think they're actually discontinuing production already. They're so expensive that not enough revunue was earned to fund the research, developement, and manufacturing budget. Quite sad....but hey, you put a Million dollar price tag on any car, and it better sell well and make a profit!

(Also I'd have a garage full of many other inexpensive cars before i bought a Veyron, but thats me)

I don't see the price tag as a real problem. But if I'm surfing a Dakota site, I probably can't afford it :) But think of how many billionaires there are today. Now think of how many street legal cars there are that are faster than F1 race cars. Hmm, only one I believe! If I had a few billion dollars laying around, I'd buy one and keep a few hundred thousand dollars around for insurance and maintenance.

I would think the price has came down a bit due to the stength (surprise) of the dollar.

I'm thinkging just around 1.3 million right now.

As a matter of fact back in the early part of this decade, it was priced around 800 grand before Bugatti went into production.

Yep, I remember Motortrend did some type of article about the Veyron back in '99 or 2000.

It was priced around $850K

But has anyone ever thought about what type of resale a car like that be if you was to put at least 25,000 miles on dashboard??

I mean its a W-16 with 4 turbo's, 7 speed auto (one of the first) and theres of the notiable mechanics of the car that would be just to many to list. So, just how reliable should a 1Million dollar car be?
