Message: I have a 1997 Dodge dakota 3.9 v6, that is not giving any heat, I replaced the thermostat, flushed the radiator and changed antifreeze, also replaced radiator cap, but still no heat.
Any ideas guys?

Message: you sir: prolly either need a new water pump or a heater core, but you could also have plugged heater lines as well, or your heater box vent doors are not mixing properly, i don't know how much mechanical experience you have but i would first try all of those things and if still no luck, take it to a certified mechanic.

Message: If the water pump was malfunctioning The engine would be over heating. Plugged heater core is a possibility. My money says it's with-in your water controller to the heater or a vacuum problem not moving the heater doors.
