Message: Once again Chrysler is going to use a China auto maker to produce small cars for them to sell in US and Europe. Certainly not a 1st for US auto makers, but buying a car from the big 3 anymore isn't necessarily buying American. I would wager a good percentage of the parts in that Dodge you drive have been made overseas. And I wonder how many of the replacement parts you buy are actually knockoffs from Taiwan or China? Maybe instead of having bi-lingual Spanish taught in schools, we should have Mandarin taught instead. lol

Message: More people speak Mandarin, than Spanish.
In this Hemisphere however, Spanish, and English prevail.
My wife and I speak Mandarin, (I'm an American, Caucasian mutt of European descent)and my two sons are learning as well.

Message: I'd like to also add that I've been to Taiwan once, and Mainland China 3 times in the last 8 years.
Mainland China is one awesome place. Kinda like visiting the USA, if you go, visit several places for a better perspective.
If you want to feel like you're in the US, go to Shanghai.

Message: Nothing against Chinese. I'm sure most of them would rather live here than there. I can see that by all the new $500,000 homes being built around here. Most of them are owned by Chinese judging by the names such as Huynh, Lee, and chang. For people who have lower wages than Americans I don't see how they can sure afford these houses when I can't.
