Subject: knocking in front end IP: Logged
Message: i remember reading about common knocking in the front end of dakotas, i have an 02 qc 4x4 with about 42k on it, gonna keep it for a while but i do have that knock in the front end when i go over some bumps, im sure that the shocks are origional....the ball joints have been replaced, am i overlooking something??

Message: IF it's going over bumps while making sharp turns, the hub is making contact with the control arm. HAd it, thought it was ball joints. HAd mechanic check it and said there was nothing wrong or worn out but it is a design flaw.
