Hello all,
I hope someone here can help. I have a 2001 CC, V6, 5-speed Dakota. It has 64,000 miles on it. It's been a great truck but there is a strange squeal, screech type noise when I come to a stop and take my foot off the brake pedal. The noise is definitely coming from the rear (drum) brakes. This only happens when I have come to a complete stop and let up on the pedal, and the noise only lasts less than half a second, like a "chirp". I had new rotors & pads done on the front, cleaned & adjusted the rears and a brake fluid flush done last week, noise seems worse now.
Anybody else ever have this? Any ideas/suggestions would be most appreciated..
