My heated mirrors no longer heat up (2002 Club cab). The light on push button on the heater control lights up and cycles off as per normal, just getting no heat at the mirrors (both of them). How does this system work? Is there a wiring problem to follow to see what's wrong?

I have a similar problem on my 02. The mirror on the passenger side doesn't heat up. Drivers side is OK. You need to check fuses and the switch. I need to get the glass out of the housing without breaking it. Then I can check the wires and heating element. Anybody know how to get the glass out in one piece? A replacement heated mirror is $75. Ouch! But it drives me crazy when my truck isn't 100%
