Message: My original battery died on me yesterday morning after 6 faithful years with the -18 degree temperature we had. I stuck the charger on it for a couple of minutes and started it up. When I closed the hood, carefully I thought, the grill cracked down the middle. I'd like to know if the black replacement grills off of Ebay are any good, fit and finish wise. And if someones bought one from there, is one sellers grills better then anothers. I'll need to get it painted Patriot Blue, but just don't want a whole lot of prep work needed.

Message: Anything is better than a cracked one! lol. I know how you feel
though. A cardboard box on the freeway came up and hit the front
of my truck at 70 mph. It sucked... It wrinkled the chrome on the
grille... grrr... I might just buy a new one form ebay. But iunno yet
either.

Message: Well now you have the chance to get one of the specialty grilles like the Cervani grill or maybe even a chrome one. they have a chrome ABS one piece on ebay, but it has a chrome mesh insert but it is also made out of ABS instead of metal. they go for $114. I'd like to know what their quality is. I suppose they would be fine as long as they don't get any impacts on it.
