Message: well since you got side swiped it should probably fall on the other guys insurance. if not, you might want to check out some junk yards and see if you can get the parts from a junkyard vehicle or two. you will save hundreds if you can get it from there. otherwise you're probably looking at least $1500 including labor.

Message: Guess again. That damage will run over $4,000. When someone hit my back quarter by the bumper it was appraised at $2,600 by the insurance company. No damage to the wheel flare either. Just slight damage to the bumper. Sure surprised me that it cost that much.

Message: A bed repair will cost much more than replacing a front fender.
Here in Phoenix there is a place called "Certi-Fit"
If they have the parts, you are looking at NO MORE than $500
I have repaired about three vehicles from there.
1993 Saturn, early 90's Nissan truck... BOTH needing hoods, front bumper and lights. No more than $300 EACH.
The wife's 2004 Grand Caravan. Dealer wanted like $200 for the headlight. Got it for around $70 at Certi-Fit. I can NOT tell the difference.
They were out of stock on the bumper and as a matter of fact, I FINALLY got around to getting that front plastic bumper cover last Thirsday. $85 + tax.
Do a search for them. MAYBE they have more branches. All I know is they are BUSY every time I go there, over 50% of the people in there are from BODY SHOPS buying parts there!

Message: Try to find the parts used first before going after market. I worked in my uncle and grandfather's body shop for about 6yrs after school (to pay off my first car). Never did find an after market fender that fit right. You always have to bend this, or drill a hole here that they forgot, or elongate a hole to get every thing to line up together. With the used parts you are still getting factory parts (just a whole bunch cheaper) so you know they will line up better and definately have all of the holes in the right places. Having said that don't waste your money buying all the stuff from dodge or you will spend a fortune, buy the aftermarket stuff before going to dodge.
