hahaha...I was thinking about getting one of those and sticking it on my truck one night when I was gonna be meeting up with a bunch of friends to mess with them. Any of you guys know if those at least make the sound when the vehicle shifts or is it random? lol

If I had to guess it would whistle constantly, and the pitch would increase with the RPMS due to the amount and speed of the exhaust moving through the pipe.

It's electronic I believe... I was talking to my friend about em. Another friend thinks they got a button on em so you can hit it when your vehicle shifts. Or I guess for people who drive manuals, they can put the button under the clutch. He's got a modified Chevy Cobalt SS/SC and he's gonna buy one and put it under the clutch so people think he's one of those ricer dudes with all that fake stuff on his car...and then still blow em away when some idiot challenges him. I tell you what...for the price, those Cobalt SS/SC's are pretty badass. I went for a ride in it once...it pulled HARD well past 100mph and that supercharger was still loud even with the windows down and the Magnaflow exhaust.

It has the same problem that the SRT-4 Neons have though. No mater what engine you put in it or what wheels you put on it or how quick it is, its still a Neon. Which means in 3 or 4 years it will be falling apart. Same deal with the Cobalt SS, its still a Cobalt and in 3 or 4 years it will be falling apart.

I don't mind the Cobalts...even the LS's aren't too bad of a car, though I personally wouldn't dump my money into an LS. Granted, give the Cobalts a few more years and they prolly will be just like the Neons are.

And yeah, I agree with the whole SRT-4 thing...it's still a Neon. lol

"it's still a Neon" except when it beats you in a race. then it's an SRT-4. those things can be wicked fast with little mods or money. what a sleeper it would make without all the fancy badging and spoiler.

but i'd still rather have my dak.

Those things have been out for several years now.

They are just basically a "whistle" and I am sure they just whistle when you open it up WOT and let the RPM's climb. It probably don't whistle when you are backed out of the throttle. Les throttle = less gases exiting the tailpipe.

Still. I can't believe people would actually spend the coin on FAKE sh*t like that. Worse yet. Ebay is CUTTERED because a-holes sell worthless crap to any sucker that may buy something like that.
Like do a search for SUPERCHARGER once. 90% will be the electric version LOL!

I was looking for something recently and then emailed a guy a few weeks ago on ebay stating I really didn't like sifting through USELESS GARBAGE to find something I could use. Boy did I hit a soft spot with that guy. I think I still have the email...

Here it is. I wonder if I was the first person to send this company a negative email???

I was just curious.
Do people actually buy useless products like this?
The only increase in MPG would be due to the restriction of the air intake by such a devise LOL!!!!!

I guess there’s a sucker every minute, so with scammers out there like this we must continue to sift through the GARBAGE on eBay when we are looking for a product of use!!!! AUUURRGGHHH!!!!!!

--------SNIP--The email replied back from that worthless company-------------

DON'T BUY IT THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a free country and we can sell whatever we want - what is it to you?!

We are really sick of people like you having nothing better to do with your time then harass us! Go find the numerous people out there that YOU happen to have a gripe with who sell the same exact type product.

We are PowerSellers on eBay, have a 99.5% Positive Feedback rating and guess what, my friend? We have a PowerSeller rep that THIS e-mail has been forwarded to. They will track down your information thru the Header of this e-mail, your name, and e-mail address. You may think you're slick by sending us an e-mail in this manner, but we have ways around previnting harrasment such as this.

Also, don't bother e-mailing us anymore. You've been blocked!

Good day & GET A LIFE!

HAHAHAHAHA! I'm curious what the "PowerSeller Rep" has to say if they ever email you in regards to this...but I agree...when I type in Dodge Dakota in the search, I end up with about 40 pages of results. 12 pages being useless sh!t...like the "20+ hp chips" and crap like that.
