I know this is a Dakota forum but I dont have anywehre else to turn.
I have a question on the V6's that come in the 06' Magnums. There is a 2.7 & a 3.5L V6.
Other than the size and the ponies, what's the real differences here?

I can only assume that the differences between the 2.7 and 3.5 are like the differences between the 3.9 and the 4.7.

you can compare the 2 side by side. looks like the 2.7 is DOHC and the 3.5 is SOHC.
internet access ought to be like a drivers license. you should have to pass a test before you're allowed access. took me all of about 15 seconds to find it.

I think the power rating on the 2.7LV6 is around 200 HP probably 200ftlbs toruqe. The 3.5L Magnum is around 255 HP and 260 ftbls toruqe. OHC of course.

Yep. A single 3.5 puts out more HP than all the 2006 production Dodge 5.9's combined!

I find that hard to believe. But at least the 360 puts out more torque at 345 ft lbs.
