Has anyone seen the Dakota motorsport truck? It is a 2wd RC with 4.7L 5spd LSD, and 3.55 gears. Best of all it has the 2001 16 inch wheels, but they are gloss black. take off the stickers and this is one good lookin truck, fast too.

The motorsport package was available on any configuration of Sport 2wd Dakota. So there are bound to be a few 4-banger motorsport edition Dakotas out there. It was a pretty good deal, just about $100 more then the wheel package for the extra graphics, chrome grill, and a cooler full of stuff. (along with the wheel package but painted black with the yellow lettered tires). The 4.7, 5-speed, LS would have to be specifically requested and was not part of the motorsports package.

I've seen one! LOL! Matter of fact I own one! Its pretty sweet! Mine is 2001 Flame Red RC 4.7 5-speed and 3.92 Trac-loc. My parents bought it for me back in June I think it was. Its a very fast truck for what it is and I get comments on it all the time. Some dumb@$$es say hey I like your RT and Im like its not an RT not even near it but oh well! I have been told but never see that there are also avalible in Silver and Black and with an extended Cab? Anybody know for sure? Im thinking about adding some fender flares to mine, like the RT has. Only modds so far are a drop in K&N and a Rino Liner. Those stock tires it has are super sticky! This thing cant be knocked out of a curve if its a smooth one! HAHA! The bed sure likes to walk around with you!
