Subject: motor 360 380hp

i was wondering if any one has dropped in the motor in the summit mag in mopar section. the 360 with 380 hp. Also i have a v-6 if i dropped in that motor what would i have to change.

This would not be worth the money or effort. You would need a new tranny, wiring harness, PCM, not to mention your engine/frame support would have to be moved/modified. Then let me ask, do you have a limited slip rear end? If not, plan on getting one. If you already do, plan on new axles and tougher gears. Be happy with what you have. If you aren't, go but a R/T and put a cam, heads, intake, headers and a blower on it. It would be cheaper!

Or you might just want to get a 92'+ 5.2L Magnum. With a few grand, you could have yourself a fast motor and not have to change out your entire trucks underside. The 5.2L is only an extended 3.9L. I have heard that all the engine mounts are the same too. But if your teanny is a bit weak, you should get a new one installed. Otherwise your 5.2 will eat it up! Good luck in what ever you choose. But I agree, the Mopar 360 would be really cool in a Dak!!!
