Message: Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew the production numbers on the 1992 Dodge Dakota Warrior (red) with the stepside shortbox, and the Magnum 5.2L.

Message: Have not heard of a Warrior version. I have heard of a Dakota "Express" or some call a "Lil Red Express" (the latter coined after the '78 '79 D100 Stepside). The Express has a total production number of 32 floating in cyber space, but I cannot find anything official on this, so I don't know if it was a specific dealership doing this or if Dodge actually did the work. Anybody else?

Message: I haven't heard of a '92 "warrior" either.
Those earlier Ram "Lil Red Express" trucks were fastest American production vehicles in 1978, introduced after favorable response to another factory "custom", the "Warlock" - a similar design in black.
There was an '05 concept vehicle "Dakota Warrior".

Message: The Dakota Warrior was also built by L.E.R. Industries in Edwardsburg, MI (the company that built that built the Express and Lil Red Express Dakotas). It was based on the original Dodge Warlock. I don't know any production numbers but they're pretty rare. However, I do recall reading in the April/May 1992 High Performance Mopar, they were only available in Black. There was an article on the LRE and there was a breif metion of the Warrior. I had scanned in the article sometime back and the images are posted on my site.

Message: i have a black dakota warrior brought new in 92 i was told then there were only 500 made 250 little red dakotas and 250 warriors of corse the little red were red and the warrior were black the only colors dodge would let them be painted because they were moddled after the 76 77 and so forth little red express and warlocks which only came in red and black respectivly.in 92 the warriors came with the 318 cid. with 230 hp. the trucks are lite and fast mine has 156000 miles and i have never been in the motor and it still runs great. i have redone the fiberglass bed twice in the past 20 years from stress cracks not as bad a corvetts but the truck has to much power and the bed will twist and cause small stress cracks wont break just cracks ease recoat and paint and the truck looks like new. mine has won a show or two in its time and i will keep showing it as long as their are people like me that love to look at the cars other people love.
