 Subject: "race" with IS300

Had a little freeway onramp dual with a Lexus is300, and we were about even to 50, he pulled me by half a car at 60, at which point he had to yield to traffic. Don't know the 0-60 on the little Lexus, but figure my 4.7 auto qc with 3.55 lsd was doing pretty well. Windows were down, and he was definitely screaming the motor. I had a family of four, 2 quarts of ice cream, and an apple fritter on board. Figure the apple fritter was at least .5 second weight handicap. It was fun and over before we even hit the speed limit.

I raced one of those the other night also. I have a an '01 CC 4.7 3.55 and as soon as I would begin to floor it, he would start to disappear behind me. There were two ricer boys in it, and every time I beat them, they kept coming back for more. :)

Well damn, I was pretty happy nipping at this guys heels, and it sounds like you were smokin' the guys. Is your truck stock with auto trans? Or guess I got a slow one. Bummer,
