Besides punching a hole in the bottom of the tank?

If it has fuel injection, you can screw a referigeration hose onto the test port on the fuel rail and jumper the fuel pump relay. The reason I say refer hose,l is it will have the 1/4" flared fitting on one side with a schrader core depressor.

Most filler necks have something in them to prevent a hose from getting down there.

You can also pull the rubber hose from the filler neck to stick a hose directly in there.

Then what you can do is suck on it, IF you like the taste of gas and getting high!
Or, take the hose and push it all the way down in the opening to the tank. Hold your thumb over the outlet of the hose while holding the hose as low to the ground as possible. Then pull the house out of the tank a few inches. When you have it pulled out a few inches stop and let your finger off of the hose just long enough to push the hose back into the tank. Once the hose is pushed into the tank cover the outlet with your thumb again and pull the hose back out a few inches.

The up and down of the hose timed with opening the end of the hose with your thumb will be a pump. Once fuel flows you can put the hose into a tank as long as it is low enough to allow gravity to continue syphoning from the trucks tank.

This works. I've done it from filler necks that allowed you to get a hose down in them. :)

this is exactually what i am looking to do! so i screw the refrig hose on to the fuel rail test port and put the other end in a gas can.
What do i need and how do i jumper the fuel pump relay?

This is getting scary.
Wouldn't it be easier to get your gas from a gas station?

Nevermind.
I read your original post too quickly.
I thought you were trying to siphon some gas out of your tank, and didn't realize that you were trying to drain the tank.
Graphite's methods work just fine for draining a tank.

Well if you are scraping it, then you don't have to worry too much about shorting things out in the relay box if you mess up!!!

Is this a DAK you are scraping? We hope not LOL!

Anyway. Find the FUEL PUMP RELAY in the relay box which would be under the hood.

You can pull the relay out of it's socket. There would be 4 terminals to it. Two drive the relay coil. One will be HOT all the time to the battery. I think another will go HOT when you turn on the key to go to one side of the coil.
The other side of the coil gets GROUNDED by the PCM when it wants the pump to run.
So the 4th terminal goes to the pump.

Some relays show what each pin is on the side of them. You want to jumper the two that go to the SWITCHED terminals usually labeled as COMMON and Normally Open ( or just NO )

If that isn't so and you have nothing to loose, just take 12VDC from the batter + side and jumper it into each terminal under the fuel pump relay until you here the fuel pump run. Which sounds like a high speed whine.

Let us know what happens.

find the test port on the fuel rail (left side toward the firewall). Using a tire valve core removal tool, remove the valve.Install ten feet of clear 9MM ID hose with a adle clamp.Pinch the hose gently with a pair of vise grips.Position a gas tank up wind as far away as possible.Start the truck and slowly open the vise grips while watching the flow.
