I was at the Lube shop getting her Teeth Brushed almost went with the Synthetic But the Guy that works there said ill get more miles out of it But still have to change the Filter every 3000 so whats the point in that?

You might be able to go a year without changing your filter, but for a few extra bucks it is better to change it with every oil change. Whether you use synthetic or traditional oil the more frequently/regularly you change your oil and filer the better it is going to be for you engine.

Just because a company (or the label on the oil bottle) advertises 15000 mile Oil Change Interval, doesn't mean you should.
The goal is (or should be) a healthy engine for as long as you own it. For some, that means 3000 mile OCI. Others can go longer. Some shouldn't wait 3000 miles.
Depends on many factors, such as manufacturing tolerances, type of driving (hard, easy, city, highway, etc), quality of fuel, types of loads such as towing or mountainous terrain. Even elevation factors in because your engine must work harder at higher elevations.
There are two main things you can do for your engine: 1) Good quality fuel and 2) use the proper viscosity oil, and change it and the filter regularly. The manufacturer's maintenance schedule OCI should be considered 'minimums' using organic oils. Synthetics can go a bit longer, but oil filtration is key to longer OCI's.
