Message: I am in need of some info. What kind of grease is recommended for a chassis lube. I live in MN and its winter. I am wondering what grease is best for this project. Also does anyone know of a website or literature that could show me where all the grease jets are?

Message: Grease fittings on a Dodge. Hm-m-m.
Last time I was under mine, there weren't any. Not even for the driveshaft universals. None. Not a single one. Anywhere.

Message: Really, there are no grease fittings? Then how does one keep the chassis lubed? Any for the Ball joints or suspension arms?

Message: There's suppose to be 5 or 7 fittings at least on my 98. Inner n outer tie rods are the only ones that i know of for sure. If you have had your ball joints replaced they should have fittings on there too if you got the greasable types.

Message: Dodge doesn't want you to lube your vehicle so it will last a long time, and give you many years of trouble-free service.
There's no profit in it for them.
Starting in 2000, they don't even want you to see the level of coolant in your reservoir bottle. It's a molded part of the radiator fan shroud.
Go under and look around at all the parts they didn't paint. Hint: look for the rusty parts.
