Subject: Discount Tire = Good Deal IP: Logged
Message: I just picked up a set of 265/75/16s Michelin LTX/MS tires from discount tire for a heck of a deal.
Tire Rack wanted $624.00 (156 per) plus $74.88 (18.72 per) for road hazard. Grand total 698.88 before taxes and shipping.
I got mine for $150 per tire including mounting, balancing, government fees and discount tire includes free rotation, free road hazard and free valve stems.
You read correctly, $600 out the door for a set of 4 Michelin LTX/MS in 265/75/16.

Message: I agree, Discount Tire has some of the best prices around - at least they do in my area. I bought the same tires from them a few years and 42K miles ago. Best all around tire I'v ever used. Still have plenty of tread on them. Should be able to get another 20K out of them, maybe more.
