Is there an aftermarket replacement for my 2000 driving lights? NAPA wants $98.00 each. I havent called the dealer but it must be more than that.
Mine are cloudy/yellowed and dont throw as much light as they used to. There's also a couple of chips/cracks on them.

Go to: www.carlightswholesale.com

I purchased my last set there. Good cost and great lenses.

I got brand new aftermarket Cyberwhite Navigator fog lights from Pep Boys for 50$ and had them installed for 50$. Twice as bright as stock, no malfunctions in 8 months, and the lenses are thick glass rather than the easily crackable plastic. The lights plus install were less than what I think a dealer would want for one fog light, woulda been half the price if I woulda got off my lazy azz and put them in myself. The only shortcoming is its not a perfect fit without the stock brackets to fill in the gaps in the holes but its barely noticable. In hindsight I shoulda gotten 3.5 inch fogs instead of 3-inchers to make up for the space that the stock brackets with adjustment screws takes up in the bumper holes.

Any aftermarket fogs will do the trick. I believe Pilot has a pair for about 100$ that are designed to mount in the Dakota stock holes. Take your pick, mount them up, cut the wires leading to the stock fogs, solder them in, throw some shrink-wrapping and some rubber flex-tube around them, and you're good to go. You can easily buy a much better pair for what anybody wants to charge you for one stock unit.
