It's funny how people buy in to the "Hummer" name even after Chevy bought them and stamped their name on existing Suburban drivetrain. Buying a H2 or H3 just isn't the same as the original built for the military!
I always thought it was dispicible (Chevy using the name), but after seeing THIS VIDEO of a typical H2 trying to do do H1 things, http://www.mycarsucks.com/photos/audio_video/H2Wheel.wmv I thought of bringing it up LOL!!!
Just something to laugh at.

Ha...I freakin love it that's way too funny. Well at least they actaully took it off road. It's amazing how people will buy those and avoid driving on gravle roads because they're afraid a rock might jump up and scratch their paint.

LOL I'm glad you all thought it was funny and not a single person FLAMED me for posting it.
Well, at least not until some CHEVY guy comes here during a search and goes ape-Sh*t!
I haven't seen the Cars movie yet. But it's in my Blockbuster online Que for when it comes out on DVD.
It's amazing how many Pavement Pounders there are on the road. You can especially pick them out when it's a 4X4, lifted high and has HUGE rims with low profile tires on it!!!!
In this guy's defense, at least he TOOK it off road. So you got a point there. But the main point was that the Hummer name on a Chevy body is kind of rediculous!

hummers in general have nothing good aobut them. this is an old video a guy posted on my jeep forum. its great. shows you dont always get what you pay for

clint nice video, that first part about rock climbing is on youtube. I was going to find it and post it, you saved me the trouble.
GraphiteDak I dont know how it is there, but people here around Georgia raise their trucks to fit 35"+ tires and leave the stock axles. Looks so stupid to see a truck sitting 40" off the ground and have what looks like a match stick axle. I'm sure the first curb they hit will snap it. The whole suspension looks very weak.

thats why i never wanted a dakota 4x4 or a chevy. i hate intependent front suspension. i mean a 4x4 dak would be nice but for me... id have to lift it and take it wheelin and to do that right you need a solid front axle. its all about jeeps for wheelin for sure

I kinda want a Jeep now that I watched the video!
Although many of you know I wasn't always a pu$$y with my Dakota. But I stopped doing the mean offroading to it because I KNOW it aint no Jeep!
