Great story, although I can barely stand the "yo yo hip hop" mentallity from the guys on that forum... why is talking like retards so popular?
How many of us have always WISHED we could have caught that theif that robbed us???
I got to finish my partII of my anti theft system. Already NO ONE can start my truck. but I need to finish installing my chemical spray system for theives. It's already piped into my truck. I just need to mount the chemical tank and selenoid and do the wiring. Boy wouldn't they be in for a surprise then they broke into MY truck LOL!
The infrared camera watching my vehicles in front of my garage seems to work pretty good too. It records on motion.

I personally like the system developed in S. Africa for car jackers. It blasts them with a flame thrower located underneath the door.
Its illegal here in the U.S., but you could fab up a similar device. Technically, you wouldn't get in trouble for using it until it was necessary anyways.

Remember it's in Canada...they use the metric system...150 KILOMETERS per hour.
I don't care for the way they all talk...but eh...that's not the point of the thread...I just found it cool that someone actually caught a thief in the act and did something about it.

making a civic do 150 mph is easy. stock they will do 120. my buddy has a full exhaust on his and intake "thats it" and be blew by my truck topped out. he was doin about 135. so you add a turbo "very common on civics" and your well over 150.

I don't think a Civic has enough gear to do 150 without hitting 8,000 RPM's.
Most of the small cars I've driven still run 3,000 RPM's at 80 in 5th gear! About like my 4.56 gears in my Dak!
And I'd never take a sh*t can that fast anyway.
A street sign would cut right through it where a Truck would run it over!

those little motors run 3000 rpm like its nothin. a stock toyota celica redlines at 9000 rpm. now you take a civic that redlines at aobut 7 and through a turbo on it, your ganna be up past 150. i drove a mitsubishi eclipse with a turbo kit and it crused 140 like it was nothin. i dont care waht anyone says. those imports are fast. including those neon srt4s. those things are badass.

My friend took me for a ride in his friend's Cobalt SS/SC...I was extremely impressed...may even buy one if I decide I wanna get something more fuel efficient instead of getting anothe truck. Those suckers get almost double the mileage of my truck...and they're f'n supercharged!
I love Dodge...but I'm not real impressed with the SRT-4's. Just another Neon to me.
