Message: Yep, I say that you should be able to do a high speed slallom with your Dak without a twitch. Change lanes at highway speeds and then some, and still be in full control without a worry.
Check underneath too like the other folks said.

Message: I am sorry I have nothing to really say that might fix the problem,
but there is something definitely wrong here. In my 4x4 99 Dak,
I've taken pretty tight turns at high speeds in all weather and it
grips like a champ. No happy rear end like you're stating.
Something along the lines of rear susp, diff, or over-inflated tires
might be doing it.

Message: It sounds like something is horribly wrong and you should stop driving it before you get hurt. Could it even be a brace or support that a bolt has become lose or fallen out of?

Message: I've had a look underneath but everything seems like it's in its right place, but then again I'm not mechanically savvy like many of you here. And so far I've been lucky because I haven't had another incident either but I'm being real careful about how fast I turn and accelerate. So hopefully I can make it to the shop alive...lol.

Message: Even if the shocks are not causing your immediate problem, I would replace them with Monroe Reflex's. They made a world of difference in my 03 QC and one of the best things I have done to the truck.
Good luck with the other problem, you might have them replace the fluid in the rear diff again to see if there is more metal peices floating around in the diff. Or if your handy take the diff cover off and see for yourself. Your only looking at an hour or 2, couple quarts of gear oil and some silicone sealant. One of the easy things to do on your truck,,, replacing the rear diff fluid that is...
