Subject: Brake Performance.com?? IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone tried their slotted and dimpled rotors for their Dak? I've got a 2000 and trying to figure out what rotors to go with...already decided on pads...Bendix TitaniuMetallic II's but I've had bad luck with every brake job I've done on this thing and warped rotors. Thanks!

Message: No idea what rotors you tried but at 20,000 I replaced mine with NAPA. They carry 2 grades. I bought the best they offered. I keep the factory pads. I have great brakes and over 70,000 now. My pads are still at about 50%. I have read a lot stating those rotors with holes, dimples or slots eat up pads pretty fast. contention is they cut into the pads plus get hotter faster. This isn't from my personal experiance. But I have seen this often enough that I wouldn't even consider them except for a high speed strictly race car. My opinion
So many problems .... So little time
