Subject: Sway Bar Bushing Size? IP: Logged
Message: Ok, I've posted this question before with no luck and I've looked around and can't find the specific info I'm looking for.
I have a 2000, 4.7, Club Cab, 4x4...I've looked at Energy Suspensions application guide and can't find a specific application to replace the inner bushings. The dealer can't give me the diameter either and before anyone yells at me, I haven't been able to get under my truck and measure because of a torn knee tendon. Hopefully will be ok to do the job in a few weeks.
So, with that said, does anyone know exactly what size I should order for the inner bushings as well as the outers? How about the rears? I could go for Mopar replacements but I rather not.
Thanks guys...

Message: I have a 2001 Dakota Quad Cab SLT 2WD
I went to the www.summitracing.com site, and
ordered a set of rear sway bar bushings
off their site using the Year / Make / Model selection, and they sent me the correct
Energy Suspension bushings.

Message: Will someone with a 2000 club cab 4x4 please help this guy out.
All you gotta do is slide under your truck and give him the diameters of the front and rear sway bars. Quad cab bars are different, so he needs measurements from a club cab (extended cab).
He can't do it because he has a busted leg.

Message: Thanks Josh, appreciate it buddy...I actually got under it yesterday and measured it. I just said screw it and got under there...trying to save my knee for ski season in a few weeks! Anyways, it's 30mm but I'm not sure if the 2 wheel drive bushings I see that are also 30mm will fit? I can't imagine it's any different than my 4wd sway bar if the diameter is the same??
