Subject: Rear Slider IP: Logged
Message: Well after many attempts to find my leak, I found it. My rear slider was replaced awhile back on my 03 CC. I took it back to Safelite and they re-sealed it. However, it is still leaking. Of course I will be contacting them. Has anyone had problem when replacing their rear slider. Can I suggest a genuine Dodge window. I really don't want to take all my interior out once again.

Message: I think that it is just Safelite. Getting your windsheilds and backglasses to seal is something only a professional should do. My dad used to work for Pilkington. Which is the world leader of autmotive glass and actually any kindof glass. I suggest just trying to get somebody else next time.

Message: My slider on my 99 4x4 CC had the slider busted out by my ATV 4 wheeler avoiding a deer. It was replaced by a local independant glass shop to the tune of 1,300 bucks. That was 3 years ago and no leaks so far. Thinking your problem is the installer rather then the glass.
So many problem .... So little time
