I seem to have an oil leak from the front crank seal on my 99 3.9 dakota....40,000 miles.......anyone else have this leak??

No warranty........since its a dodge, i'm waiting for the rear main and pehaps other oil leaks to begin......these engines suck......

I guess I got lucky then...
When I bought my 99 used, I bought the extended warranty for an additional $1,600 (it was at 34,000 miles so they allowed the warranty since it was still under factory warranty at that point).
3 months later... it was discovered that I had oil leaks in the intake gasket, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, timing cover gasket.
I also had a leak in the water pump and a cracked cylinder head to boot. Fortunately the dealer covered all the repairs which came out to about $1,800.

Cracked cylinder head??!! How the heck did that happen?? I hope i don't have that to look forward to!!!
