Subject: One problem to another IP: Logged
Message: So after about $60 later I finally get my stupid airbag light to turn off since I installed my BL. Well I guess since that was gonna make me happy so I dont see that red light anymore something else must go wrong. Good thing I managed to run over some part of a cable with my rear passenger tire. Stupid things leaking and will probably be flat by morning. Sorry just had to vent a little.

Message: What the heck is a BL? Is that like bacon and lettuce without the tomato?? My airbag light came on after I closed the glovebox one day ad it won't shut up. How did you get yours turned off? By not taking a shower after working out?

Message: You've got it exactly...didnt you know our trucks survive off sandwiches? Geez if you knew that then why could't you figure out your glove box has a switch to turn you light on and off. Just look for it you'll find it eventually. Or maybe BL stands for Body Lift and due to the fact that my steering wheel turned too much when I had my steering shaft disconnected that when I connected it again my steering wheel wasn't in the original position and my clockspring broke. In your case it might just be a fuse that blew. But my problem was the clockspring.

Message: Nice post
I've had 2 clock springs go bad in my 02 qc, both made the airbag light go on and off.

This post just reassures me that bacon does make everything better.

how do you make breakfast better? add bacon!
how do you make a sammich better? add bacon!
how do you make a baked tater better? add bacon!
how do you make a dakota run better? no, don't put ricer stickers on it, add bacon!

Message: Ah yes. $17 later I know have a plugged tire because the hole was to close to the edge. Stupid thing was like 3" long sitting in there. Oh well. It was really fun trying to get my spare down since I got the body lift. Forgot about the whole offset. But of course the whole time I was makin some more bacon and lettuce sandwiches for my truck!

Message: what are some symptoms of a bad clockspring, besides that your clock won't keep good time? By the way, what's better, a clock that doesn't work at all or a clock that loses a minute a day?
