Message: Start with the truck on a level surface.Look at the back of the differential. You'll see a rubber plug there. Pull out the rubber plug. Stick you finger in the hole, and point it downwards. The oil level should be just up to the bottom of the hole.
If you have posi, be sure and use the correct additive if it isn't included in your synthetic oil.
