 Subject: no heat! no radio!

Almost evertime i hit a bump my radio and heat and windshield wipers dont work. When i hit another bump they go back on. Recently they have stopped all together. can anyone help.

Yeah, you have a wiring problem.
Take things apart and look for loose, corroded, and burnt wires and connectors

i'd look at the steering column/ign switch assy first. we had many of these go bad over the years as the switch just wears out. do you have a large ring of keys in the ign switch? move the switch back and forth slowly while the key is on and see if you can get the the power to go on/off. 2nd take the column cover off and see if the harness is rubbing on the column itself. the reason i say to look here first is because all of those accessories get their power when the key is on and its one of the few places the wiring for those systems all meet. let me know how you make out

My parents have a 98 Intrepid and the same thing happened this summer to it. Had a new ignition switch installed and the problem was fixed.
