 Subject: Rust fender replacement/repair

My right rear fender is rusting. Upon further investigation, it looks like it has rusted through before and had been bondoed over. The rust is starting to bubble the paint on the fender. I was looking for replacement fenders, but all i find are front quarter panel replacements. all i really need to replace is the lip of the fender, maybe a little more. i was wondering if i could fit the piece of the front fender replacement to the rear...

hi I have a 08 Dakota sport . the rear fender wells are rusted. I have ground them down to bear metal and applied bondo filler sanded, primed and painted. and after a month it is rusting through again?? what did I do WRONG?
