Subject: '01 Moog Ball joint p#'s? IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys,
My ball joints are totally shot on both the front wheels of my '01 4.7 cc. Can someone confirm this is the correct MOOG part number, and that I just buy two of them?:
MOOG Part # K7392
rant - Freak'n Dodge,,,sent my extended warranty a while back,,uping it to 100kmi.s,,but I had 110kmi.s,,and the dealerships would not do the work for me. Rat Bastards. Now at 145kmi.s they are totally shot. I got good service from non-greaseable joints,,but I mean,,,,dang,,,Dodge says, "hey we put defective crap in your car from the get go,,but we're not gonna fix it cause you have just a few too many miles on it." That has to be illegal....
anywho...if someone could provide a lil peace of mind before I order and get to grinding it would be mucho appreciated!
Many Thanks,
Andy

Message: oh ya,,,if anyone happens to have a discount code for RockAuto they wouldn't mind sharing that would be awesome. RockAuto has them for about $50 a piece which aint bad,,but a discount is always welcomed!
Thanks,

Message: I'm ordering my new joints,,,he he,,,,next Monday. This morning the truck started shaking really bad when I brake. The right side that is. Really freak'd me out. I thought part of the brake pad broke off or something,,but then thought it was the badly worn ball joint bouncing around under hard braking.
Can't wait to fix my baby up. Then I'm going to lower her again (had a 2-2 ground force a while back,,but it was too rough on the trails, and ranches),,,,but now that I'm in FL,,,I'm going to drop her 2-3 with a decent kit. The put in a sweet y-pipe,,,maybe have KRC clean the heads up a bit. Go for a wild cam,,,and slap a 4.56 set in the rear.
'01 4.7 auto by the way. - currently have CAI, HO cams, JBA shortys, flow master dumped before the axle. Few udder things....
