The lack of sentense structure could be an issue as well.

sounds like the torque is stuck in lock-up mode. this problem has been discussed here before. i think a solenoid in the tranny could be the culprit. someone else may chime in.

that's why i prefer a manual tranny.

get that b!tch rollin in neutral. then try to put it in drive. if it doesnt stall, then its the torque converter lockup. or you could just unplug the lockup, thats easier. but i would fix the problem in the end.

The automatic tranny of my 98 3.9 developed a surging, on cruise, as the torque converter unlocked and relocked.
I had three dealers and two transmission shops tell me I needed a new transmission.
The folks who did the regular oil analysis told me nothing mechanical was wrong.
Today that transmission has 523,000 miles on it.
BUT, I did have to replace the solenoids package.
Point of the story; Start with the simple stuff. Your problem could be a loose connection.
My transmission guy was referred by people who do performance vehicles. His prices are good (fluid change & filter around $120.00), his knowledge is priceless.
