Hi folks - I post this to help a friend - he has a 2000 Dakota 4x2 - the tires on it are 255/65 16 - We do not believe these are stock rims, maybe from a Durango? Anyways he would like to go back to the stock 15" tires and find some used rims to accomplish this - can anyone advise about what rims will fit a 2000 Dakota, so we can hunt some down? Thanks in advance!

I think the 2000 only had 15" rims. What state? I am looking up go from 15" to 16" on my 00 Dak.

I just tried to get rims for my '00 dakota 4x4. for some reason they came with 2 bolt patterns in'00. I had to get 4 1/2 on a six inch lug.

15" rims were stock - two common styles of factory mags on one bolt pattern for the 4x4 - 15x7 have a small plastic cover over the lug nuts; the 15x8 rims have the lug nuts exposed.
