Three times in the last ~9 months, I've been pulled over. All three times they let me off, b/c they saw my Fire Dept Sticker in the window. They did run my license, etc., but luckily, that's no problem.
LAst night, I was racing a low rider, full size chevy, on a highway, w/o cross streets, lights, etc. I blew his doors of and and wouldn't you know it, there was a cop. I was so far ahead of him when he saw us, that he didn't even know, or ask if we were racing. I was doing about 100 in a 50mph zone. HE let me off!
I'm not going to push my luck anymore, I can't keep getting away with this.
Working in the local ER, as a PA doesn't hurt any either.

hmmm, you should be one of the ones who know best of all that speed kills. Msybe pushing your luck about getting caught by the cops should be more of not pressing your luck about getting into or causing an accident.

It gets you good things to. I was the Fire Chief for the Elk Park VFD for several years. I had keys to every ranch gate and forest service gates in a very very large area. The best hunting, fishing and goffer hunting you could amagin . One rancher had walk in refrigeraters and freezers and all my game got hung in the refrigeraters till butchered and then stored in his freezers. Was an older guy and died about 2 months ago. I still have all the pass keys. For forest servise gates, one key fits all. I would amagine your VFD has a retirement fund . Paid by county funding. Only needed 30 hours a year to qualify for it in 10 years. Not a lot but gas money anyway.
So many problems .... So little time

I was a call firefighter/EMT for 7 years. There are two names for people like him.
1) Loser bastard.

I read the first post again.
He did post that it was a highway, without intersections, lights, etc.
If it was a highway, he was probably going 60 when he started it, so it would have been around 5 or 6 seconds.
OH sure, you've never gone fast on a safe, secluded road, right?

Good thing you're wrong about your post.
The other two times I was pulled over,
- one of my headlights was out.
- one of my taillights was out.
I guess 5+ years, and the bulbs don't last forever. Both were fixed w/in 6 hours.
I know, you never speed, or have gone fast on a safe area/road.

Well for crying out loud, you should have said that in your 1st post. You gave us the implied idea that you were pulled over for racing or speeding. Maybe a lot of us did do a little racing when we were younger. Had a few close calls too. As you age a little you realize that some of those things you did were pretty dumb and you were lucky that something didn't happen or nobody got hurt. Around here I've read in the paper a couple of times recently whre someone was street racing and crashed into a tree killing his passenger. A 2nd one, both cars crashed and someone died.
