 Subject: air bag light

my air bag light comes on occasionaly. it shows no codes. took it to the dealer once, but it did not come on while they had it. it will happen for a few days, then not again for a week, sometimes much longer. any thoughts? 03 quad/3.9 thanks

Tilt steering wheel?
If so, get some tools and remove the covers off the steering column between the wheel and the instrument panel. Then check the connectors for a loose one. The air bag connectors should all be a bright yellow.
Be very careful, though. This is dangerous territory, Tim. Don't put yourself in danger by hunching over the wheel while doing this. If the bag deploys, you could be kilt. Work from the side or from underneath of the steering column.
