Dakota 89, V6. Car has a lot of miles on it. A lot of the repairs have been followed through by my self. Got new car, due to gas prices, and now truck is having idle problems. Need truck for possible employment in the future, construction.
Here it is:
Had truck stall while driving while back. Code 11 = sensor for engine 'pick-up.' Fixed it. Distributor had a faulty part. Replaced with a 'remanufactured' part. Now truck is 'skipping' when in drive and idle. In my own mind, I think it is the reman. part. Wondering if anyone else had had problems with a reman. part, and what exactly was the fix.... dealer part? Thats the next step for me before I jump in and start 'fixing' the old beast.

How is plugs,wiring ?

Plugs are new. Coil has never been changed at 175,000.
