Message: Did it start doing this right after buying gas? Sounds like a lot of water in tank. Never know. All stations have water in there storage tanks. There suposed to stick them regularly to determine the depth of the water. Before it reaches the critical stage, they are suposed to pump it out. If a storage tank is real low and is being filled as you pump gas. water is disturbed badly and mixed with the gas untill it has a chance to settle down again. Just a possible thought.
So many problems .... So little time

Message: it could be all sorts of things. I had the problem in a jeep. sputtered and crapped out when I tried to give it ny gas. Ran horribly. Tracked it down to carbon cannister for emmissions was defective and leaking tiny particles of carbon into the carb that was plugging the jets. Now I don't know if the newer vehicles have them any more.
