what is a p 1494 code and how do i clear it? also i have a issue with my blower motor. iw just quit one day and so i talked to a few people and they suggested i change a blower motor resistor plate. ok so thats done and its working fine and then once again it quits on me. so i pull the plug and the one of the pins on the plate is fried and the plug is melted pretty good. also if anyone know how to get a hold of a new plug that would be great. the salvage yards dont have one and the dealer will only sell me a new wiring harness for the whole truck. anyone with some helpfull hints i would really appreciate it thanks.

I'd bet money if the truth be known that plug is on a lot of dodge products. Go scrounge around in the bone yard and I bet you find both a plug and plate. wrecking yards have interchange books. Should be no problems to get them to look it up

So many problems .... So little time

Here's a thought. If the whole plug connector is not fried you could replace the bad blade connectors with single ones. I had done this with a 94 v-6. Had also replaced the resistor plate. It worked for a while. Now I think its out for good.
